Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist for the Heart & Vascular Institute. The role supports physicians during invasive cardiology and radiology studies, with emphasis on patient care, safety, and precise documentation.

On-site position with potential sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT Radiography registration, and state licensure, plus ACLS within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate with an Associate degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology.
• Licensure in Radiography (ARRT) and applicable state license.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administers contrast material as directed by the physician and responds to hypersensitivity.
• Under supervision of a physicist or dosimetrist, performs duties related to radiologic procedures.
• Assists with inventory and supplies and ensures proper patient identification and charting.
• Documents procedures accurately and communicates with patients to ensure comfort and safety.
