Job summary

Carle Health seeks a Registered Radiologic Technologist to join the Heart & Vascular Institute. You will assist physicians in invasive cardiology and radiology studies, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging. A sign-on bonus is available.

Position requires ARRT certification (R) and ACLS within 1 year, with strong patient communication, manual dexterity, and attention to detail. On-site care in a dedicated cardiovascular care setting is provided.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Certificate in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered in Radiography (R) by ARRT and licensed Radiologic Technologist.
• ACLS certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Administers contrast material as requested and monitors for reactions.
• Under supervision of a physicist or dosimetrist, performs duties.
• Assists with inventory and supplies.
• Ensures patient and chart identification align with diagnosis and treatment.
• Documents procedures according to policies and procedures.
• Explains procedures to patients and ensures comfort and confidentiality.
• Performs essential Radiologic Technologist functions and on-call/variable shifts as needed.
