Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist for the Heart & Vascular Institute. The role involves supporting invasive cardiology and radiology procedures and assisting physicians to deliver patient care within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree or Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology.
ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (R).
Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (IEMA).
ACLS within 1 year - AHA.

Responsibilities

Administers contrast material per physician request; responds to hypersensitivity or reactions.
Under direct supervision of a physicist or dosimetrist.
Assists with inventory and supplies.
Checks patient, chart identification, diagnosis and treatment position.
Documents clinical information per policies and procedures.
Explains procedures to patient and provides care, safety and confidentiality.
Performs essential Radiologic Technologist functions.
On-call duties and variable shifts as needed.
