Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of radiology positioning and techniques.
• Advanced knowledge of basic radiation safety and aseptic techniques.
• Advanced knowledge of anatomy including vascular and cerebral.
• Ability to work with physicians and diverse providers.
• Familiarity with embolic and thrombolytic materials and monitoring equipment.
• Proficiency with vascular access sheath suturing.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate angiographic and ultrasound equipment for basic to advanced procedures.
• Assist with interventional and surgical procedures as scrub assistant.
• Monitor patients, respond to emergencies, and perform CPR when needed.
• Ensure images are of diagnostic quality and label studies correctly.
• Maintain patient records and document billing codes.
• Serve as technical resource and preceptor for staff and students.
• Collaborate with other departments to educate on imaging processes.
• Position and transport patients as required.
