Job summary

Advocate Health in Chicago seeks a seasoned Radiologic Technologist to provide scrub support during diagnostic and interventional procedures, while offering expertise in cath/EP and IR imaging modalities. The role requires ARRT licensure in IL, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and a two-year radiology degree.

The candidate will operate imaging equipment, ensure radiation safety, and collaborate with providers to assure QA and accurate documentation in PACS.

Qualifications

• Current RT license in IL with ARRT; BLS; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Two-year associate degree from an accredited radiology program.
• Prior imaging experience in X-ray and interventional procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide scrub support during diagnostic and interventional procedures; anticipates provider needs.
• Operate imaging equipment; act as radiation safety resource and ensure QA.
• Communicate clearly with providers and team regarding technical issues affecting imaging, hemodynamics, and oximetry.
• Maintain sterile technique; prep, drape, assist and circulate as required.
• Assist with supply inventory; serve as a technical expert and team resource.
• Participate in site/system teams; attend staff meetings and educational offerings.
