Job summary

Mercyhealth Wisconsin and Illinois seeks an experienced Radiology Technician to support physicians and patients through interventional procedures. You will help ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality patient care while collaborating with a skilled radiology team.

The role requires ARRT registration, state radiographer license, VI certification and CPR, with 2 years in Diagnostic Radiology and 2 years in Interventional Radiology. Shift options include day hours with call rotation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school.
• Two years of experience in Diagnostic Radiology and two years in Interventional Radiology with VI certification.
• ARRT registered, state licensed radiographer, VI certification, CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for exams with supplies ready and maintain sterile field.
• Operate fluoroscope to guide devices under Physician supervision.
• Prepare and inject contrast media per Physician directions.
• Acquire images and send quality studies to PACS.
• Schedule procedures to maximize productivity and coordinate care.
• Assist with coding, billing, inventory control, and project tasks.
