Job summary

Mercy radiology department is seeking a technologist to assist radiologists in interventional and special procedures including myelography, hysterosalpingography, and arthrography. You will provide essential patient care during exams and be prepared for surgical procedures and OR on-call duties.

Minimum requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program, state licensure as applicable, and ARRT certification with CPR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program with required clinical hours.
• State licensure may be required depending on state of practice.
• 2+ years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor degree program.
• Current ARRT Registry in compliance with Continuing Education or registry eligible with a temporary license. Maintain CPR certification.
• Requires minor nursing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologist and/or performing physician in interventional and special procedures.
• Provide patient care essential to exams.
• Able to perform surgical procedures required by the team/shift and take OR call when necessary.
