Job summary

Mercy is seeking an IR Special Procedures Technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures, including fluoroscopy and interventional radiology, for patient diagnoses and treatment. You will operate imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, and support complex procedures in a collaborative Interventional Radiology team.

The role requires a graduate imaging program with clinical hours or RCIS training, plus one year of experience and applicable certifications (AART/RCIS/BLS).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program with required clinical hours or RCIS training.
• One year of relevant experience; state licensure may be required.
• AART (R) or RCIS certification and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced imaging procedures including fluoroscopy and interventional radiology.
• Operate specialized equipment and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Provide critical support during complex medical procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure optimal patient care.
