Job summary

Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to assist in interventional suite setup, patient positioning, aseptic technique, and accurate procedure documentation.

Qualified candidates hold ARRT radiography certification, an associate degree or technical certification, CPR, and will obtain VI certification within 24 months. A $10,000 sign-on bonus applies with a 2-year commitment. On-site imaging services with a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical school certification or 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• ARRT Radiography Certification and Registration required.
• VI Certification within 24 months of hire.
• CPR certification (American Heart Association).
• Act 34/33/73/ FBI background clearances as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up the interventional suite with instruments and supplies.
• Use aseptic techniques and follow policy for medication, contrast, and specimen handling.
• Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and draping for interventional procedures.
• Anticipate provider preferences and patient care variables; update related materials.
• Complete regulatory, billing, and image distribution documentation.
• Maintain supplies and participate in inventory control for efficient operations.
• Apply radiation protection and patient safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
