Job summary

Ascension St. Joseph Hospital in Milwaukee, WI seeks a Radiologic Technologist specializing in vascular interventional procedures to join the Imaging department on the day shift.

You will take clear images, administer contrast safely, monitor patients, and uphold radiation safety, quality standards and equipment guidelines. This full-time role requires ARRT VIR credentialing, state licensure, and BLS, with on-call requirements and weekend duties as outlined.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or transfer date.
• ARRT VIR credentialing within 15 months (1 1/4 year) of hire date; General Radiography required; Wisconsin state licensure required.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist preferred.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Vascular-Intrvn Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 15 Months (1 1/4 year) of hire date or job transfer date required. General Radiography required in addition to Vascular Interventional Radiology required. State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required. General Radiology and state licensure required by hire or job transfer date.

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• 830AM-5PM.

• 24/7 on call floating with EMH.

• Every third weekend requirement and holiday on call requirements.

• ARRT and BLS certified.

• WI license.
