Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist experienced in echocardiography and interventional Cath Lab support in Summit, NJ. You will perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, assist with catheterization and related procedures, manage post-procedure care, and ensure equipment QC and supply inventory.

Required are an accredited radiology program, RCIS/AART credential, BLS, and at least 1 year in interventional radiology or cath lab, with recent hospital radiology

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiology.
• Current AART credential of Radiology or RCIS.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) required.
• One year of Interventional radiology/cath lab experience required.
• Recent hospital experience as a radiology technologist.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians with cardiac catheterization, pacemaker/IABP insertion and diagnostic/interventional peripheral vascular procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Performs post procedure care/groin management including arterial and venous sheath removal.
• Operates, troubleshoots, maintains and performs quality control on radiologic equipment.
• Maintains supply inventory.
• Other duties as assigned
