Job summary

Atlantic Health seeks a Radiology Technologist specialized in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography to join the Cardiac Cath Lab in Summit, NJ. You will assist physicians during catheterizations, manage post-procedure care, and maintain radiologic equipment.

Responsibilities include supply management and adherence to safety standards. Requirements: radiology degree, AART or RCIS credential, BLS/CPR, and at least one year of interventional cath lab experience in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiology.
• Current AART Radiology or RCIS credential.
• CPR (BLS) certification required.
• At least one year of interventional radiology/cath lab experience.
• Recent hospital experience as a radiology technologist.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians with cardiac catheterization, pacemaker/IABP insertion and diagnostic and interventional peripheral vascular procedures in the Cardiac Cath. Lab.
• Performs post procedure care/groin management including arterial and venous sheath removal.
• Operates, troubleshoots, maintains and performs quality control on radiologic equipment.
• Maintains supply inventory.
• Other duties as assigned
