Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking an experienced radiology technologist to support invasive cardiology and radiology procedures in the interventional lab. Roles include scrubbing, sterile field maintenance, hemodynamic monitoring and EKG interpretation, plus post-procedure care and vascular access management.

You will operate imaging systems, manage supplies, and participate in a fast paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of radiology technology.
• One year of Interventional radiology/cath lab experience preferred.
• Recent hospital experience as a radiology technologist required.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) required.
• ACLS within 3 months of hire.
• Licenses: Current AART Radiology Technology Licensure Required.
• Registrations: RCIS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians to perform invasive cardiology and radiology procedures; scrub and maintain sterile field.
• Monitor and document procedures in interventional procedural lab.
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring and EKG interpretation during procedures.
• Post-procedure care and vascular access site management including sheath removal.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain lab equipment including imaging systems/fluoroscopy.
• Maintain supply inventory.
• Other duties as assigned within Atlantic Health sites.
