Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Clinical Nurse for Interventional Radiology Prep/Recovery. This part-time role covers 2/10s shifts (10:00a-8:30p or 11:00a-9:30p). The RN coordinates clinically competent, evidence-based care for an assigned patient group within NMH.

The role emphasizes collaboration, advocacy, and adherence to professional standards. The position requires NLN-accredited nursing education, a BSN or higher, Illinois RN license, and BLS CPR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN accredited school/college of nursing.
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or higher.
• Current State of Illinois, Registered Professional Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR through American Heart Association.
• Analytic ability and strong communication skills.
• Ability to enter and retrieve data using a keyboard.

Responsabilités

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent, evidence-based care for an assigned patient group.
• Advocate for patient-centered care and develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care.
• Document patient responses and adjust the plan of care accordingly.
• Ensure safety and quality through adherence to standards and policies.
