Qualifications

• BSN degree and Illinois RN license required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required per specialty.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in cath/IR.
• Proficient in basic computer skills and documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports Nursing Administration and Department Management initiatives.
• Coordinates needs of service-specific physicians within each team.
• Communicates effectively with team members, leadership, and physicians.
• Follows Illinois Nurse Practice Act and department policies.
• Ensures safe environment in collaboration with support services.
• Implements care with proper techniques and safety measures.
• Recognizes emergencies and uses emergency equipment appropriately.
• Manages daily team assignments and case coordination.
• Oversees equipment, supplies, and case carts; serves as a clinical resource.
• Monitors cost containment and standardization of products and staffing.
• Oversees orientation, education, and competency for new procedures.
