Job summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem in Evanston is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for Interventional Radiology to provide clinical leadership, guide nursing staff, ensure compliance with protocols, and coordinate patient flow in a busy unit.

This full-time exempt position requires an IL RN license, BSN/MSN preferred, and BLS/ACLS. You will lead daily huddles, manage staff schedules, and support safe, high-quality care across inpatient and ambulatory services.

Qualifications

IL RN license is required and ongoing licensure must be maintained.
BSN or MSN preferred; graduate degree in nursing/health care administration is a plus.
BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical guidance and leadership to nursing staff within the unit.
Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and delivery of care.
Act as department charge nurse; assign rooms, coordinate bed placement and ad-on cases.
Lead daily huddles and rotate into patient care as needed.
Manage staff schedules and coordinate with on-call rotations.
