Qualifications
- Graduate of an NLN accredited school/college of nursing.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher.
- Current State of Illinois, Registered Professional Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR through American Heart Association.
- Analytic ability (conceptual and quantitative).
- Oral, listening and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Advocates for patient-centered care and develops individualized age-specific plans of care.
- Disseminates knowledge through teaching and mentorship within the team.
- Demonstrates critical thinking and plans nursing interventions safely and timely.
- Delivers patient education and documents responses in health records.
- Ensures safe environment and escalation when needed.
- Collaborates with hospital teams to improve patient outcomes.
