Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Interventional Radiology at MMC. This per diem, day-shift role involves direct patient care in Radiology, where RNs support diagnostic and interventional procedures and PICC management.

A NJ RN license and BLS/ACLS/PALS are required, with EPIC EMR familiarity encouraged. The ideal candidate has IR or critical care experience and holds a Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing is required or must be obtained.
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications are required.
• At least one year of IR or critical care experience is required.
• Comfort with electronic medical record systems (EPIC) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in Interventional Radiology for in-patients and out-patients.
• Administer safe, evidence-based medications and treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and providers to ensure timely, coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families to support informed decisions and next steps.
• Document accurately in the EMR to ensure continuity and safety.
