Qualifications

• At least 1 year IR or critical care experience; EMR (EPIC) familiarity.

Interventional Radiology Administers patient care for in-patients and out-patients in the Radiology Department for diagnostic and interventional procedures, performs PICC insertions to include actual insertion & responsible to monitor and perform all related duties related to PICC insertion and maintenance: including insertion, discontinue line, troubleshoot PICC related problems, update patient lists, track line days thought-out hospital.

• Providing safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands on care grounded in strong clinical judgment

• Providing clear, compassionate education to patients and families so they feel informed, supported, and prepared for the next phase of care
• Ensuring accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record to promote continuity and patient safety

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS & PALS certification. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is strongly preferred. At least one year current IR or critical care experience is required and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC.
