Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Interventional Radiology (IR) in the Radiology Department. The role focuses on patient care for in-patients and out-patients, PICC insertions, and collaboration with physicians to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an active NJ RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and has 1+ year of CCU/IR experience, with EPIC EMR proficiency. The position offers a 40-hour week and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• At least 1 year of Critical Care, IR, or Acute Care experience.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) such as EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and respond to clinical changes.
• Administer safe, evidence-based medications and treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and providers to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families for informed care decisions.
• Document accurately in the EMR to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to support transitions of care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and clinical ladder opportunities.
