Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health's Monmouth Medical Center in New Jersey is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Interventional Radiology. This role provides patient care for in-patients and out-patients, including PICC insertions and related duties, in a fast-paced radiology setting.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, administer evidence-based treatments, document in EPIC, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure safe, coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred; prior patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and recognize subtle clinical changes.
• Providing safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care.
• Serving as a clinical partner to physicians and advanced providers.
• Providing education to patients and families about next steps of care.
• Documenting accurately in the EMR to promote continuity of care.
• Contributing to interdisciplinary rounds and coordinated care.
• Collaborating in a highly collaborative team environment.
• Pursuing ongoing professional growth through education and ladders.
