Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for Interventional Radiology in the Long Branch, NJ area. The role involves supporting radiologists and care teams through diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures, administering contrast, and ensuring patient safety.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN or higher, current RN license, and radiology/ICU experience. BLS/ACLS certifications and EMR proficiency are required, with a focus on accurate charting and patient education.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or a high-acuity clinical setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong understanding of radiologic and imaging procedures and safety protocols, including the use of contrast media.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists during diagnostic imaging examinations and interventional radiology procedures.
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents, addressing any allergic reactions or complications.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide patient care before, during, and after radiologic and imaging procedures.
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care, risks, and benefits of radiologic tests and contrast agents.
• Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care in accordance with hospital policies.
