Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support perioperative and interventional procedures. You will provide direct patient care before and after procedures, monitor during sedation, and ensure safety and comfort throughout the patient journey.

The role requires a valid RN license, ACLS/BLS certifications, and 1 year of ICU/CCU/ED or perioperative nursing experience. Flexibility for on-call duties and day shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• RN license active (single state or multi-state Compact).
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform diverse clinical procedures with independent judgement.
• Provide pre/post procedure patient care for invasive, interventional and surgical procedures.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and deliver care in complex patient cases.
• Maintain sterile technique and IV administration competence.
• Coordinate daily patient schedules and ensure quality documentation.
• Assist in QA/QC functions and regulatory compliance.
