Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia seeks a Registered Nurse to provide skilled patient care in a high-demand environment. Functions under the Site Manager, performing diverse clinical procedures with independent judgement and comprehensive nursing processes for patients and families.

The role requires ACLS/BLS and RN licensure, with 1 year of ICU/CCU/ED/peri-operative nursing experience. Day shift, 4x10s (7a-5:30p) with call, based in Austell.

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required upon hire.
• RN licensure valid for Georgia (or multi-state Compact).
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience in ICU/CCU/ED/IMCU and peri-operative nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide variety of clinical procedures with independent judgement.
• Implement nursing process with age-specific patient care awareness.
• Address biological, emotional, developmental and education needs of patient/family.
• Maintain patient safety, assembles equipment, and documents accurately.
• Coordinate daily patient schedules and ensure chart reviews are completed.
• Participate in QA/QC and maintain readiness of crash cart and supplies.
