Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Nursing professional to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced setting. The RN will perform clinical procedures with independent judgement, implement nursing processes, and address age-specific needs of patients and families.

The role requires ACLS/BLS certifications, an RN license (or compact) and a minimum of 1 year experience in ICU/ED/peri-operative care. On-site work with day shifts and on-call expectations are included.

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing; RN license required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, RN or compact license.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience in ICU/CCU/ED/IMCU or peri-operative settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of clinical procedures requiring independent judgement and initiative.
• Implement the nursing process based on expanded knowledge and experience.
• Address age-specific needs of patients and provide education to patients and families.
• Coordinate daily patient schedules and maintain documentation and records.
• Maintain patient safety, QA/QC activities, and compliance with regulations.
