Job summary

Incredible Health in Lawrenceville, GA seeks a Registered Nurse for Interventional Radiology to support radiology procedures and patient care from pre- to post-procedure. Will work with radiologists and a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective care in a high-acuity setting.

Qualifications include ADN or higher in nursing, active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and familiarity with EMR systems. Experience in radiology or ICU is preferred, with a focus on contrast safety and patient education.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or a high-acuity clinical setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong understanding of radiologic and imaging procedures and safety protocols, including the use of contrast media.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists and other medical professionals during diagnostic imaging examinations and interventional radiology procedures.
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents, ensuring that any allergic reactions or complications are promptly addressed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide optimal patient care before, during, and after radiologic and diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-procedure care, explaining the risks and benefits of radiologic tests and contrast agents.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care in accordance with hospital and departmental policies.
