Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within an interdisciplinary team, guiding care plans and coordinating with physicians and support services to achieve optimal outcomes.

This role requires an associate degree in nursing or diploma, with BSN in progress preferred, and at least six months of nursing experience or participation in the Nurse Residency Program.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma.
• BSN in progress within three years of hire; as per policy for certain hires.
• Six months of nursing experience or active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program.
• Ability to learn quickly, strong teamwork, accountability, and ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per evidence-based policies and standards.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and physicians.
• Perform assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation of care.
• Document accurately and ensure patient safety and quality of care.
• Adhere to ANA Code for Nurses and organizational competencies.
