Job summary
Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care and coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team. The role focuses on applying evidence-based nursing practices, performing comprehensive assessments, and ensuring safe, high-quality patient outcomes.
The RN will deliver age-appropriate care, communicate plans with patients and families, and participate in ongoing education and competency development.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license to practice in New Jersey.
- Associate degree in nursing or diploma of nursing; BSN in progress encouraged.
- BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
- Six months of nursing experience or active participation in Nurse Residency Program.
- Ability to learn quickly, strong teamwork, and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Coordinate patient care/unit activities with nursing peers, physicians and support services.
- Document nursing assessments, plans, interventions and evaluations in real time.
- Administer medications with bar-scanning and safety protocols.
