Job summary
Hackensack Meridian Health's Jersey Shore University Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver evidence-based patient care, communicate status with the care team, and support safe transitions across disciplines.
NJ RN license required; BLS/CPR within 60 days; ACLS and PALS required; NIHSS preferred; 1 year Interventional Radiology experience preferred; BSN in progress within 3 years. Competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications
- Licensed RN in NJ with current registration.
- BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
- ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
- NIHSS is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care according to evidence-based policies and standards.
- Maintain ongoing communication with patients and healthcare team.
- Administer medications using bar-scanning and documentation systems.
- Document patient assessments and plans-of-care in real time.
- Provide patient and family-centered education to optimize health.
- Assist with safe patient discharges and care transitions.
