Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist to join the Heart & Vascular Institute. You will assist physicians in invasive cardiology and radiology procedures, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Registered in Radiography (R) - ARRT.
• ACLS within 1 year - AHA.
• Ability to work in fast-paced Heart & Vascular Institute environment.

Responsibilities

• Administers contrast material per physician request and monitors for reactions.
• Supervises under physicist or dosimetrist.
• Assists with inventory and supplies.
• Verifies patient and chart identification and treatment position.
• Documents clinical information per policy.
• Explains procedures to patients and ensures comfort and safety.
• Performs essential Radiologic Technologist functions.
• On-call duties and variable shifts as needed.
• Supports Cardiac Cath Lab procedures and Hybrid Peripheral work with vascular surgery.
