Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist for the Heart & Vascular Institute to support invasive cardiology and radiology procedures. You will assist physicians, manage patient care, and help maintain sterile technique within a dynamic team.

Required credentials include ARRT radiography registration and ACLS within 1 year. A sign-on bonus is available and benefits are offered by Carle Health.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration in Radiography is required.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in Illinois or eligible.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.
• Associate degree or Certificate in Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in invasive cardiology/radiology procedures.
• Administer contrast as directed and monitor for reactions.
• Verify patient identity, chart, and positioning.
• Maintain sterile field and assist with inventory.
• Document procedures accurately per policy.
• Explain procedures to patients and provide comfort.
• Perform on-call duties and variable shifts as needed.
• Support training for new staff as required.
