Job summary

Carle Health in Illinois seeks a Registered Radiologic Technologist for the Heart & Vascular Institute to support physicians during invasive cardiology and radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging. You will work closely with the team to deliver compassionate care.

This role requires ARRT Radiography certification, an Illinois Radiologic Technologist license, and ACLS within 1 year.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered in Radiography (R) required.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (IEMA) required.
• ACLS within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administers contrast material according to physician's request and responds to hypersensitivity.
• Assists with inventory and supplies.
• Checks patient and chart identification, diagnosis, and treatment position.
• Documents accurately according to policies and procedures.
• Explains procedure to patient and ensures comfort, safety and confidentiality.
• Performs essential functions of Radiologic Technologist and on-call duties as needed.
