Ascension Saint Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville, TN is seeking a Physician Assistant for interventional radiology. The PRN position involves assessing patients, obtaining informed consent, and delivering peri-procedural care under physician supervision.

Responsibilities include developing treatment plans with the radiology team, educating patients and families, and assisting with minimally invasive procedures while upholding sterile and radiation safety standards.

Formación

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date or transfer date.
• Physician Assistant credential from the Tennessee Committee on PAs prior to hire date.
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program; Master's degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

• Assist with minimally invasive procedures including but not limited to:

• Perform minor procedures independently as permitted by state regulations and institutional protocols

• Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety protocols

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Physician Assistant credentialed from the Tennessee Committee on Physicians Assistants obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience:

• 1 year of experience preferred.
