Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare in Georgia seeks a board-certified Interventional Radiologist to provide specialized imaging-guided, minimally invasive procedures and lead patient care within a multidisciplinary team. You will perform a broad range of vascular and oncologic interventions, ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and maintain high standards of service.

The role reports to Medical Director of Interventional Imaging and requires leadership, clear communication, and commitment to patient-centered

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• ACGME diagnostic radiology residency completed.
• IR fellowship per SIR/ACR standards completed.
• ABR board certification in Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology; ongoing CME.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures under imaging guidance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to determine treatment plans.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain informed consent.
• Monitor post-procedure patients and manage complications.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Interpret imaging studies when schedule permits and collaborate with departments.
