Job summary

Hmixray in Phoenix, AZ seeks an Interventional Radiology Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and patient care. You will assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional angiography, perform fluoroscopy exams, and support prep and scrub duties.

Requirements: CRT license, ARRT certification, and BLS. We offer a $12,500 sign-on bonus, strong benefits including medical/dental/vision, HSA funding, 401(k) match, and free imaging for you and your family.

Qualifications

• Valid and current State CRT license required.
• Valid and current ARRT certification required.
• Proof of current BLS issued by the American Heart Association before start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with diagnostic and interventional angiographic procedures and interventional radiology procedures.
• Perform high quality radiologic, fluoroscopy exams on incoming patients.
• Assist with pre-procedural setup, sterile field, scrub and circulating assistance during the procedure.
• Monitor patient's wellbeing during exams and procedures; recognize discomfort or medical problems and take action.
• Guide patients and answer questions about exam procedures and process.
• Assist with physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Participate in projects/meetings and complete other tasks as assigned by management.

Education

State Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

You Will:

• Assist physician with diagnostic and interventional angiographic procedures and interventional radiology procedures.
• Perform high quality radiologic, fluoroscopy exams on incoming patients.
• Assist with pre-procedural set up, sterile field, scrub and circulating assistance during the procedure.
• Monitor patient's wellbeing during exams & procedures; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.
• Guide patients through this sometimes difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Participate in projects and/or meetings, as well as complete other tasks as assigned by management.

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:

• Valid and current State Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license required
• Valid and current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) required
• Proof of current Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association. Must be provided prior to start date

Pay Range:

$38.00-$45.00 per hour
