Job summary

RadNet in Rochester, NY is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to assist with various diagnostic and interventional procedures. The ideal candidate will have a valid CRT and ARRT license and possess excellent patient care and communication skills. The role includes monitoring patients, aiding in procedural setup, and ensuring a high standard of care.

Qualifications

• Valid and current State Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license required.
• Valid and current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
• Proof of current Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Perform high quality radiologic exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient’s wellbeing during exams & procedures.
• Guide patients through exam procedures and answer their questions.
• Participate in projects and complete tasks as assigned by management.

When you join us as a Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders—patients, providers, payors, and regulators—to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

You Will

• Assist physician with diagnostic and interventional angiographic procedures and interventional radiology procedures.
• Perform high quality radiologic, fluoroscopy exams on incoming patients.
• Assist with pre‑procedural set up, sterile field, scrub and circulating assistance during the procedure.
• Monitor patient’s wellbeing during exams & procedures; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Guide patients through this sometimes difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Participate in projects and/or meetings, as well as complete other tasks as assigned by management.
