Job summary

RadNet in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a team delivering high-quality radiologic and interventional services.

You will assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional angiographic procedures, perform fluoroscopy, and help prepare the sterile field during procedures while monitoring patient wellbeing and answering questions to ease patient anxiety.

Qualifications

• Valid and current CRT license required
• Valid and current ARRT(R) certification required
• Proof of current BLS issued by the American Heart Association. Must be provided prior to start date

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with diagnostic and interventional angiographic procedures and interventional radiology procedures.
• Perform high quality radiologic, fluoroscopy exams on incoming patients.
• Assist with pre-procedural set up, sterile field, scrub and circulating assistance during the procedure.
• Monitor patient's wellbeing during exams & procedures; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.
• Guide patients through this sometimes difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Participate in projects and/or meetings, as well as complete other tasks as assigned by management.

Education

State Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R)

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

You Will

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have

Pay Range:

$38.00-$45.00 per hour
