Job summary

St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT is seeking an Interventional Radiologic Technologist to support a state-of-the-art Neuroendovascular suite. The role is 100% clinical and may require mandatory call; a signing bonus is offered.

You will operate digital imaging equipment, assist physicians, and ensure patient safety while preparing contrast media for complex neuro/interventional procedures. A CT Radiography license and ARRT certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
• State of Connecticut Radiographer license.
• ARRT certification in Radiography required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Responsibilities

• Operates digital equipment and performs Neuro and Interventional invasive procedures by positioning patients and preparing contrast media.
• Assists the physician in diagnosis and treatment of patients.
• Maintains comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• May work with chemotherapy agents, cements and embolization agents.
• 100% clinical role with possible mandatory call.

Requirements
