Job summary

St. Vincent’s Medical Center, part of Hartford HealthCare, is actively hiring an Interventional Radiologic Technologist in Bridgeport, CT to support a state‑of‑the‑art Neuroendovascular suite. The role involves operating digital imaging equipment and assisting physicians in complex neuro and interventional procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
• State of Connecticut Radiographer license.
• ARRT certification in Radiography required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Operate digital equipment and perform complex neuro and interventional procedures by positioning patients and preparing contrast media.
• Assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment, applying thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Work with chemotherapy agents, cements and embolization agents as part of neuroendovascular care.
• Position for 100% clinical procedures and be available for mandatory call when needed.

Education

Graduate from an accredited Radiography program

State of Connecticut Radiographer license

ARRT certification in Radiography

Basic Life Support (BLS)
