Job summary

St. Vincent’s Medical Center is seeking an OR Radiologic Technologist to provide intra-operative radiographic imaging. You will operate O-Arm, C-Arms and mini C-Arm systems and work closely with surgeons to ensure precise radiology guidance for each case.

The role requires CT radiography licensure in Connecticut, ARRT certification, and BLS, with typically 2+ years of Radiologic Technologist experience. Shifts include call and holiday coverage in a busy surgical department.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
• State of Connecticut Radiographer license.
• ARRT certification in Radiography.
• Minimum of 2 years of completed experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic imaging in the operating room during intra-operative procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment such as O-Arm, C-Arms and mini C-Arm cases.
• Collaborate with surgeons and OR staff to ensure appropriate radiology guidance for OR cases.
• Image ERCP/GI exams as needed during procedures.

Position Summary:

The OR Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic imaging in the operating room during intra-operative procedures. Our OR Techs operate specialized imaging equipment such as O-Arm, C-Arms and mini C-Arm cases. You will collaborate with surgeons and other OR staff to ensure radiology guidance is available and appropriate for specific OR cases. Our OR Radiologic Technologists perform imaging for ERCP/GI exams as needed.
