Stony Brook University Medical Center seeks a Medical Radiographer III for the Cerebrovascular Center. You will perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, ensure ALARA, scrub in as 1st Assistant, and contribute to QA and data management.

Requirements include graduate of a Diagnostic Radiology Program, NYS DOH license, ARRT certification, and BLS. This full-time day shift position in the Cerebrovascular Center offers opportunities to work with radiology students and hospital staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Radiology Program.
• New York State DOH License in Diagnostic Radiology is required.
• ARRT Certification is required.
• BLS Certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures with minimal supervision.
• Scrub in as 1st Assistant and provide necessary equipment and supplies.
• Ensure ALARA principles while maintaining image quality.
• Conduct periodic QA and manage image delivery to PACS/dictation systems.
• Teach radiology students or hospital staff per department objectives.
