Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional imaging across diverse patient populations. You will operate imaging equipment, perform post-processing, and ensure accurate documentation while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The role requires graduation from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited training, and ARRT registration with BCLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required.
• ARDMS or ARRT registration upon hire.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies.
• Completes post-processing functions and related record keeping / patient care tasks.
• Follows established protocols and tailors techniques for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities:

Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures to include but not limited to: angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and gastrointestinal studies, and modality assisted drainage and biopsies. Completes all post processing functions. Performs related record keeping and patient care functions. Ensures the utilization of established protocols and techniques differentiating for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the performance of diagnostic procedures and functions.
