Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional imaging, including angiography, venography, myelography, and GI studies, while ensuring patient safety across adolescent to geriatric populations.

Graduation from an AMA/JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program is required, with ARDMS or ARRT registration and BCLS certification upon hire; no prior experience is needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited program.
• ARDMS or ARRT registration required upon hire.
• BCLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies, and modality assisted drainage and biopsies.
• Completes all post processing functions and related record keeping, ensuring protocols for adolescent, adult and geriatric populations.

Overview

This position is Monday - Friday from 9 am - 5:30 pm. No weekends. Sign-on bonus available!

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures to include but not limited to: angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and gastrointestinal studies, and modality assisted drainage and biopsies. Completes all post processing functions. Performs related record keeping and patient care functions. Ensures the utilization of established protocols and techniques differentiating for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the performance of diagnostic procedures and functions.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program REQUIRED
