Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in interventional procedures to perform diagnostic and interventional studies including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies. You will ensure post-processing and maintain patient records in line with established protocols for adolescent, adult and geriatric populations.

The role is PRN with day shifts, requiring BLS certification and ARRT licensure. ARRT VI/CI preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered by ARRT (R) licensure required by law.
• BLS Certification; VI/CI ARRT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies.
• Completes post-processing functions and maintains related records per protocol across age groups.

Completes all post processing functions. Performs related record keeping and patient care functions. Ensures the utilization of established protocols and techniques differentiating for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the performance of diagnostic procedures and functions.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:

Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (R).

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

BLS Certified.
Advance Certification by ARRT in Vascular-Interventional Radiographer (VI) or Cardiac-Interventional Radiographer (CI) is preferred.
