Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a radiologic technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures, including angiography, venography, and biopsies, while ensuring patient safety and high-quality images.

Candidates must graduate from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited training, hold ARRT/ARDMS certification upon hire, and BCLS. No prior experience required, with focus on patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures (angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, GI studies) and modality-assisted drainage/biopsies.
• Completes post-processing and related record keeping.
• Follows protocols for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in procedures.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures to include but not limited to: angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and gastrointestinal studies, and modality assisted drainage and biopsies. Completes all post processing functions. Performs related record keeping and patient care functions. Ensures the utilization of established protocols and techniques differentiating for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the performance of diagnostic procedures and functions.
