Job summary

AtlantiCare's Interventional Pulmonology unit seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to collaborate with physicians and the care team, delivering comprehensive nursing care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.

The RN will perform assessments, plan and implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes while maintaining professional growth through ongoing education and performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred; Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• American Heart Association BLS required upon hire or transfer.
• Two years medical/surgical and/or emergency room experience preferred; ACLS within 6 months of hire/transfer; ATCN/TNCC within 24 months; PALS/ENPC within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care across inpatient, outpatient and community settings.
• Follow nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation.
• Document assessment, plan, interventions and outcomes per standards and policies.
• Support performance improvement initiatives and professional development.

Skills

BLS certified

ACLS within 6 months

PALS or ENPC within 12 months

ATCN or TNCC within 24 months

EMR/Clinical applications experience

Education

RN License in NJ

BSN preferred
