Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join an interdisciplinary team, coordinating the plan of care in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. You will manage the nursing process—assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation—while ensuring alignment with the medical treatment plan and providing limited laboratory services as needed.

The role requires an NJ RN license, BLS, and will involve working across care settings to support patient‑centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
• Non‑BSN candidates must enroll in a BSN program within 1 year and complete within 3 years.
• Current RN license in New Jersey (state). Multi‑state license acceptable.
• BLS required.
• Valid NJ driver’s license required for employees in Adult and Child Partial Programs.

Responsibilities

• Assessment: collect and organize subjective and objective data.
• Planning: identify problems and desired outcomes, develop documented plan of care.
• Intervention: implement interventions or orders per plan and medical treatment.
• Evaluation: assess effectiveness, modify care plan, document actions.
• Perform limited laboratory services: specimen collection, processing, quality control testing, and results recording.
