Job summary

Headlight.Health in Carlsbad, CA is seeking an InterventionalPsychiatry Technician to provide clinical administrative and patient support in our outpatient esketamine program. You will be a key partner in the patient care journey, coordinating care, facilitating communication, and maintaining a welcoming environment.

You will collaborate with providers and care teams, support adherence to treatment plans, document in the EHR, and help ensure sessions start on time in a patient-centered,

Qualifications

• Two or more years of healthcare or behavioral health experience.
• BLS, First Aid, CPR, and AED certification preferred or obtainable within 90 days.
• Experience with psychiatric or behavioral health settings and REMS programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for esketamine and TMS sessions; ensure supplies are available and sessions start on time.
• Welcome patients, review expectations, and provide clear, compassionate education.
• Monitor patient status during treatment and communicate concerns to the provider.
• Document treatment activities and follow-up needs in the EHR accurately.
• Serve as a consistent contact for patients; address non-clinical questions and logistics.
• Coordinate appointments, transportation, reminders, and other logistics to support continuity of care.
• Collaborate with providers, pharmacies, and care teams on updates and progress.
• Receive, store, inventory, and reconcile prescribed medications; monitor shipments.
• Maintain REMS documentation, DEA records, medication logs, and assist with audits.
• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming clinical environment and protect patient confidentiality.
• Support daily clinic operations and cross‑team communication.
• Identify workflow improvements and participate in team initiatives.
