Job summary

Mindpath Health is seeking an Interventional Psychiatry Technician in Charlotte to deliver TMS and esketamine treatments in a supportive clinical setting. You will work closely with physicians, monitor responses, document care, and coordinate follow-up with patients, ensuring a high standard of safety and care.

The role requires 1+ year of patient care in healthcare and BLS certification; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with EMR experience and TMS certification training provided within 90 days.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of direct patient care experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience working with patients experiencing anxiety and depression.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Life Sciences, Psychological Sciences, or a related field.
• EMR experience preferred (NextGen/AdvancedMD a plus).
• TMS Certification; training provided within the first 90 days if not already certified.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals receiving TMS and esketamine treatments.
• Administer TMS and assist with esketamine treatments in accordance with physician protocols.
• Prepare and maintain treatment equipment and ensure patient comfort and safety during sessions.
• Monitor patient responses, obtain vital signs, and promptly report concerns or adverse reactions.
• Administer psychiatric rating scales and document all sessions and interactions in the EHR.
• Schedule and coordinate follow-up appointments and ongoing care.
• Collaborate with clinicians and staff to ensure seamless, coordinated patient support.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA and clinical standards.
• Recognize and respond to mental health crises using de-escalation techniques and emergency protocols.
• Support quality assurance efforts and report deviations from clinical or safety standards.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of clinical equipment and coordinate technical support as needed.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and special projects as assigned.
