MaineHealth Franklin Hospital in Farmington, ME is seeking a BC/BE Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician to join our Pain Care Clinic. The ideal candidate will diagnose and treat chronic pain conditions using interventional procedures to improve quality of life.

The Interventional Pain physician will work with a team of professionals to develop individualized plans that combine interventional and non-interventional approaches, including medications, physical therapy, and psychological

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active Maine medical license or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (Physiatry).
• Active and unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose chronic pain conditions.
• Perform interventional pain procedures (e.g., epidural injections, nerve blocks, joint injections, RF ablations).
• Develop individualized treatment plans combining interventional and non-interventional approaches.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, psychologists, and anesthesiologists to create holistic care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures and plans.
